Home Office announces International Graduates Scheme
The International Graduates Scheme (IGS) announced by the Home Office Immigration and Nationality Directorate is a new initiative to allow all graduates of UK degrees the opportunity to work in the UK full-time for one year.

"The International Graduates Scheme (IGS) will be launched on 1 May 2007 with the aim of encouraging graduates of UK further or higher education establishments to pursue a career in the United Kingdom."

The programme applies to both UK undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. IGS participants will be able to take any type of employment or self-employment for up to 12 months and will be able to switch into various employment or self-employment categories such as work permit or HSMP beyond the 12 month IGS period, if they meet the relevant requirements.

DfES lists Grafton College of Management Sciences on the Listed Bodies Order
The Listed Bodies Order provides the names of all UK education institutions or bodies, which for the time being; deliver courses that lead to degrees awarded by Recognised Bodies. Grafton College of Management Sciences is published on the Listed Body Order.

Partnership between University of Wales - Lampeter and Grafton College - London
The latest link up is between Lampeter’s Department of Management and Information Technology and Grafton College of Management Sciences.

Grafton College of Management Sciences is an independent College with two campuses, at Shepherd’s Bush in London and in the centre of Dublin. Both offer courses to students that can increase their knowledge, prospects and sense of achievement.

The Institute of Accounting Technicians in Ireland (IATI) have officialy recognised GCMS as an approved center to offer the IATI Accounting Technician (Foundatin and Admissions programmes)

GCMS Quality Assurance Policy agreed with FETAC
The GCMS Quality Assurance and Procedures manual was agreed with the Further Education Training and Awards Council (FETAC), GCMS is now "registered with FETAC to offer programmes leading to FETAC awards within the National Framework of Qualifications". GCMS now offers four FETAC programmes all at Level 5: Certificate in Nursing Studies, Certificate in Tourism, Certificate in Business Studies, Certificate in Information Technology.

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Wales, Professor Robert Pearce and Mrs. Conny Matera-Rogers, Head of Management & IT Department, visited Grafton College Dublin Campus on 8th June 2007. They met the administrative and the academic staff to discuss further opportunities of cooperation.
